I haven't posted about Callie's platelet count for awhile and it is because it has been so great lately! In October her count was 141,000!! This is almost at a normal level, which is 150,000 to 300,000. We were shocked they were so high, since her count in July was around 60,000. It is typical with TAR for the platelets to level out close to a normal range around one to two years of age, but even our doctor was impressed with Callie's numbers. The even better news is that three months later in January her platelets were 145,000. This is such great news for us and helps us breathe much easier.

Great news, that's awesome!! :) When are you guys headed to Japan? We won't be there until late June I think, hopefully we will be able to see each other over there!! I have no idea where you will be in comparison to us, but I would love to see you guys!!! Hopefully you get to go over soon so you don't have to be apart too long!! :)
